Ayrshire Archives have developed an interesting online exhibition regarding Afro-Caribbean people who were linked with Ayrshire during the 18th and 19th centuries. From their records they have collated information regarding black servants, slaves, owners, the abolition and anti-abolition movements, together with a bibliography to print and online materials.
